How to See Better in 2019

Gerneral Eye West Springfield MA | Greenfield New Year’s resolutions are usually about weight loss, but here at Longwood Eye & LASIK Center, we have a few other resolutions for you to set so that you can see better in 2019. From getting your eyes checked to schedule a Lasik appointment, this article will list a few different things for you to consider.

Get Your Eyes Examined

If you can’t remember the last time that you had your eyes examined then make 2019 the year that you do just that. Here at our office, we encourage patients to get an eye exam every year to not only check for changing vision but to also check for eye diseases like glaucoma and cataracts.  Depending on the vision insurance that you have, your eye exam may be covered by it.

Sunglasses

Wearing sunglasses isn’t just about looking good; it’s also about protecting your eyes as well. To make sure that you are shielding your eyes from potential vision damage, make sure that you invest in a pair of sunglasses that has both UVA and UVB protection; that way you know that you are really protected.

Schedule Lasik

If you want to really see better in 2019, then consider rescheduling your Lasik consultation with us. Depending on the type of vision that you have and any underlying conditions that you may also have, we will be able to determine whether or not Lasik is going to be the right option for you.

You don’t have to go above and beyond in 2019 to get good vision; in fact, these three things are pretty standard and easy to do. If you want to learn a little bit more, contact our Athol office today and call us at (800) 676-5050.
