I had a wonderful experience with my Lasik procedure there and I have to say that both Dr. John F. Warren and Dr. Andrew Walkowiak are truly THE BEST. When I decided to do Lasik, I did some research on a few different places in the area and Longwood Eye and Lasik came up first and got the best reviews!! I contacted them and scheduled a free consultation app. I’m so glad that I was a candidate for lasik and did the procedure with them. It is a really life changing. The procedure went really smooth and it was faster than I expected. I did not feel any pain during and after AT ALL. Both doctors made me feel calm and confident and explained everything to me. The whole team were very kind and professional as well. Now I can see even better than what I did with my glasses and lenses before. If you’re looking to do Lasik, this is the place to go to. I HIGHLY recommend them.

I should have had LASIK years ago. I am overly impressed with the professionalism of the practice. The team has a strong commitment to quality and safety. I felt as though I was a strong part of the decision making process. From the initial consult to the last post-procedural appointment- I was never rushed. My questions were answered thoroughly and at a level at which I could understand what was being communicated. Best decision I ever made was to have ASA eye surgery here (LASIK) and best money spent in my life. Dr Warren performed the procedure and everything went well. Can't thank him enough! It is truly a blessing to be able to see 20/20 currently and can almost see 20/10. This was 2 and half years ago when done. Staff are nice, building is clean etc. If you are thinking of getting LASIK done don't over think it just do it if you qualify!

Everyone was so nice and thoroughly explained the procedure and all possible risks associated. During my LASIK procedure they explained everything that were doing step by step so I wasn’t surprised. My vision is now 20/15! Absolutely the best decision ever. I highly recommend!

Had LASIK done here a week ago, so it’s an early review of course. But I can say the staff at Longwood are all fantastic - Dr Walkowiak did all my pre and post op care, and Dr Warren performed the procedure. Both have been wonderful to work with, and I couldn’t be more happy with my results so far. The procedure was painless and extremely quick - I think I was in the room for less than 10 minutes. My eyes were a little uncomfortable afterwards but took a nap (which accidentally ended up being a 4 hour nap). When I woke up, I felt totally fine, and I could see clearly, even through the plastic eye covers. One week down the line and my vision is better than 20/20, with the expectation that it’ll only continue to improve over the next month or so. — Quick update about a year post-op, couldn’t be happier with how it turned out! Didn’t have any complications and my vision has stayed great - huge thanks to Dr Walkowiak and Dr Warren!

Dr. Warren and Dr. Walkowiak were both outstanding doctors and I am so grateful to have booked my LASIK through Longwood Eye. All other staff at Longwood Eye were great as well. Dr. Walkowiak was very kind, approachable, knowledgeable, and helped to answer any questions I had and make me comfortable during the entire pre op process. Dr. Warren performed my surgery and it couldn’t have gone better in my opinion! He also was very kind and knowledgeable and broke things down step by step so I knew what to expect the entire time (love no surprises!). I recently had LASIK done in February 2022, but I wanted to wait until today’s last scheduled follow-up to post a review! My vision is 20/10 now which I was not expecting at all! Before, I could barely see a few feet in front of me without glasses/ contacts. I had the most wonderful experience from the very first consultation. On the day of the appointment, all the providers made sure I was comfortable and laughing throughout the procedure, even going as far as to giving me a stress ball (which I didn’t even know I would need, but I definitely was glad to have it). Overall, very impressed with the office flow, from check in, to seeing the provider, and even to discussing finances/ appointments. I’m planning on staying at this practice for my annual checkups in the future!

Above and beyond. I just had my LASIK operation in West Springfield yesterday and I couldn’t be happier with the results. The staff is extremely professional. The operation was quick with minimal discomfort (nothing more than the feeling of pressing on your eyeball). And I can see without glasses! I say above and beyond because the staff helped me buy lunch and even drove me to the nearby hotel where I was staying after the operation! The scheduling and evaluation staff in Gardner was also great and very accommodating. Thank you all so much!!!

I am 2 months post LASIK surgery and the entire experience here has been incredible. I was anxious about proceeding with the surgery, but the entire process was so smooth, from the initial assessment, pre/postoperative care and of course the procedure itself all went so well. I knew my eyes were in great hands! I had no complications, and my vision is great. I love that I can see without contacts, wish I had done this years ago, and I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Warren and his whole team!

I could not think of any aspect of my experience with Longwood Eye and LASIK Center from my initial eye exam to my post op visit after my second cataract removal surgery that was not five star. I researched where to get LASIK for months before I chose this place, and I’m so glad I did. I could not recommend them any more. I was SO nervous about the procedure (especially on the day of) but the entire team was so caring and informative every step of the way. This is the BEST eye care place I have ever been to. All the staff are extremely nice, polite and caring. I couldn't be more pleased with my recent LASIK procedure at Longwood Eye and LASIK in West Springfield. The center's reputation precedes itself and I got my referral from my reputable eye doctor in a neighboring town. The evaluation process was thorough, the doctors/surgeons have decades of experience, the staff is super nice and the equipment is modern German engineered. If all of that is not enough for you, they offer the most affordable price for this complex procedure. Highly recommend to anyone who needs eyesight correction.

I just had LASIK eye surgery here and I cannot say enough about how great my experience was. My sister came here over 10 years ago for her own LASIK and had a great experience, so I knew that I wanted to also come here. They were extremely transparent and kind throughout the whole process. Even during the surgery Dr. Warren explained every single thing that was going on. Dr Walkowiak is one of the kindest and funniest people I’ve had the pleasure of meeting, he explained everything throughly and simplified the entire process. I would definitely do it all over again! This procedure definitely changed my life.

Amazing LASIK surgery experience!! I had 20/150 vision before surgery but 20/20 the day after surgery. All the staff were kind and answered any questions throughout the process. The Dr performing the surgery talked through the procedure so I understood what was happening, how things were going and how long each step would take. The procedure was an odd experience but not painful. I was able to drive myself to the next day follow up. The worst part of recovery was the itchy eyes you can’t itch, but eye drops help a LOT and it does get better. Definitely recommend to anyone done with their glasses and on the fence about surgery!

I wish I explored LASIK sooner. This office’s staff are incredibly knowledgeable, especially Dr. Warren who did my procedure & Dr. Walkowiak who I have met with prior to my procedure, as well as after for post-op. The surgery coordinator, Laura, was so helpful with answering questions, scheduling appointments and ensuring all questions were answered. I was a better candidate for PRK vs. LASIK which has been nothing but positive. It has been life changing to not have to wear contacts or glasses.

I had my LASIK here on Thursday and couldn’t be happier. I have worked on getting over my severe phobia of eyes but when I was ready to do the surgery, this was the place. Dr. Walkowiak was so kind and thorough and answered all of my questions; he was honest and very reassuring about what to expect. His instructions for pre-surgery made me know they were looking out for me and my eye health. Dr. Warren did the surgery and was equally amazing, he told me what to expect and was a reassuring pretense throughout. The entire staff was fantastic and I never doubted like I was in good hands. I am referring them all over the place, and my only regret is that I didn’t do this sooner- but later is better than never. I can’t recommend Longwood enough.

I am in my 40's and waited a long time to get LASIK done. I had worn contacts for 20 years and was happy with them, but over time they started to irritate my eyes more and more and I decided it was time. I'm an emergency physician but chose the Eye and LASIK Center in West Springfield because of the great online reviews and they were completely right! From my very first visit, everything was very professional and efficient. Over my initial (free) consultation and a pre-op visit, Dr. Walkowiak answered every one of my questions honestly and in a way that was easy to understand. On the day of the procedure, Dr. Warren made me feel completely at ease and the whole thing took maybe 10-15 minutes. It was completely painless except for maybe 10 seconds of slight discomfort on each eye. I was able to watch a movie that night and the next morning I was back to doing most of my usual activities with minimal eye irritation and PERECT VISION!! I can't recommend this group enough. I can look around now, see everything clearly with no eye irritation from contacts, and I can't believe I waited this long to get it done. Two big thumbs up and I will be recommending this group to everyone!

This was the best experience I have had when it comes to corrective vision surgery. It was only $3k regardless of prescription within reason, and the doctors work as a team, throughly explain all risks and benefits and it includes six months of post op care. I had done consults with the two other big LASIK providers in Western Mass prior to finding Longwood Eye and LASIK. While those providers have their place… for standard ASA and LASIK they don’t make sense because they charge based on the severity of your prescription and rely too heavily on their non-medical staff when trying to help the patient decide which procedure is right for you, those other places consults felt like walking into a used car lot versus a medical provider you are trusting with one of your five sense …your sight. Longwood Eye and LASIK was straightforward, didn’t play pricing games, easy to book and reschedule with when needed, clean, professional and was honest. I spent over twenty years not being able to see properly and wish I had gone sooner.

I went in for a LASIK consultation and after confirming that I was a good candidate with Dr. Walkowiak they were able to find me an appointment later that week. He explained the whole procedure to me and what I would have to do the day of. Dr. Warren was the one who did my surgery and he explained exactly what he was doing while he was doing it. It was a quick easy procedure and they made sure I was ok before letting me leave. The next day I went in for my follow up and was reading at 20/20. I got a couple more follow-up visits and was told if I had any questions or problems to give them a call. This was a very pleasant professional experience and they made me feel comfortable the whole time. With the overall experience and the reasonable flat rate, I don't think I could've found a better place to get this done.

Getting LASIK was a non-event with Longwood Eye and LASIK … it was AMAZING. Customer service was great, prompt assistance when I had pharmacy drama, easy scheduling, understandable pre and post op instructions, kind people, and the procedure itself was a walk in the park. You could tell they’d done it a million times, but still cared for everyone. And on top of all that, the price was great, and financing was an option. I would 100% do it again.

I have been wearing glasses since 3rd grade and contacts since 7th grade. I just turned 40 in Sept 2020 and decided it was time to ditch the endless cost and work of keeping up with contacts so I took the leap to do something for myself and get Laser Eye Surgery. I was a candidate for the ASA procedure and they were wonderful. So clean, patient, thorough.... during my consultation the doctor sat with me for 45 minutes while I asked all of my nervous questions. The idea of choosing to shoot a laser into your eye was a little frightening. The recovery was exactly as described - they prescribed all of the drops needed to ensure a healthy safe and speedy recovery. While I’m so impressed and pleased with my results, I’d have to say I am equally as pleased with the care and attention of the staff. If this is something you are ever considering doing - I urge you to get the Cadillac of eye surgery centers and go with Longwood Eye & LASIK. I personally went to the West Springfield, MA location but I’m sure the other locations are equally as wonderful. Thank you for giving me the gift of vision! It’s a whole new life for me!

Longwood Eye and LASIK of West Springfield did my ASA procedure. This was the best decision I ever made. They walked me through every step and I was very very sensitive to someone touching or coming near my eyes and I have extremely bad anxiety and handled the procedure great! The entire team was thorough, informative, kind and do-diligent. We decided to do ASA instead of the LASIK procedure due to my sensitivity. The procedure itself was so quick that my fiancé didn’t even have time to go grab a coffee. Recovery was just as expected to what the doctors had told me and it’s now been 3 full months since my procedure and my vision is better then I ever imagined it could be without glasses. Right eye is 20/15 and my left eye is 20/20. When I first came in, I had horrible astigmatism and couldn’t read anything without glasses and everything was very blurry. Driving at night was almost impossible even with glasses and now I see so clear and sharp at night without any glare. If you’re thinking of doing LASIK or ASA I 10000% recommended it and I especially recommend Longwood Eye and LASIK of West Springfield! The price is great compared to others and the service and result are outstanding!

I just got LASIK yesterday. I was so nervous but the two doctors there were so patient, explained everything to a T. I have never been to such a wonderful site. I highly recommend LASIK surgery to anyone who finds wearing glasses an annoyance, Or someone who just doesn’t like the look of glasses. It was painless which was so surprising. Per usual, excellent care! Dr. Warren treats each one of his patients like a person and gets to know them first before launching into the eye examination. Truthfully, he’s the best. The Longwood practice that he and others have set up takes care of all and any eye problems imaginable. There are doctors for just about any eye issue. Also, the staff is amazing: Cheerful, professional, and willing to deal with challenging questions. Highly recommend this practice and Dr. Warren. ps Yes, the wait time can be a bit longer than hoped for, but that’s because Dr. Warren and the other doctors spend as much time as necessary with each patient. Bring a book and your iPhone. The wait will be well worth it!

Will be having both eyes being done in October. Went in for a LASIK consultation and all the staff, from front desk, to assistants and Dr did a great job at making me feel comfortable. The Dr answered any and all questions I had, and they were even able to try and get me in for surgery the week after. I went in a month later for actual surgery and they were very patient, explained all the steps and helped me to feel so calm. They eased all anxiety I had and i was able to see as soon as I got off the table. Wish i would’ve done it sooner!

I recently had cataract surgery in Gardner. Dr. Warren is an outstanding Doctor. The staff at the center made sure I was completely comfortable and alleviated any and all apprehension I had! I highly recommend this team!

My sister had her surgery done here. She had nothing but a wonderful experience and when I discussed the possibility of wanting to have it done myself, she couldn't recommend them enough. My consultation, pre-op, surgery, and post op appointments were handled very well and everyone was super professional. I've already referred several people to them. After wearing glasses for 30 years, I'm finally glasses free!

In Jan 2021 I had LASIK eye surgery here and waited a full year to write a review so that I truly had a sense of the healing process and how my vision turned out. I did a LOT of research ahead of selecting the Eye and LASIK Center and looked at options all over New England and am happy I went with this location. They were informative, upfront about pricing, knowledgeable, and the facility was clean, professional feeling and welcoming. The biggest draw for me was when they explained that when they do the cut of the flap they do it in a “c” instead of a “u” like many places which means they only cut one nerve into the eye instead of two, which means your eye can still detect the need for tears so dry eye is much less of an issue. Even the fact that they explained this to me was more info than I received at a consult at a different place and made me feel confident in using them. They also did more thorough tests upfront and said I needed to not wear my contacts for two weeks prior to properly allow my eyes to hear (the other place said only a few days and didn’t mention that my eyes were irritated and needed medicated drops to heal them). I did have a bit of an unpleasant experience with my follow up consult before the procedure, where I two young women who seems very new, do my preliminary tests and they acted like they didn’t really know what they were doing and made me uncomfortable and very very nervous, but I spoke with the doctor who did all the secondary tests and he was reassuring, but it still made me second guess my decision a bit though I still decided to go through with it. The day of the procedure went very smoothly and exactly as they had explained and as I had expected from all my research. The procedure was so quick and I was actually surprised that the Dr was chatting with me during it. It was definitely weird to experience but wasn’t painful at all. The worst part was the ride home (which was an hour for me) and that was when my eyes felt like I had rubbed onions in them but after getting home and taking a long nap the pain had subsided and I could see. My sight continued to heal for about a month that I could tell and in the first week every day was noticeably better - even though I could see it was hard to focus from near to far for that first week and distance wasn’t perfect. I took all the eye drops, omega3 pills and followed all the directions and after a year I rarely feel the need eye drops at all and am so so happy I went through with the surgery. I don’t see perfectly at night, but I never did while using contacts either, so it doesn’t bother me and the benefits of not dealing with the issues, frustration and pain of wearing contacts largely outweighs a little blurriness at night, which is not even something I notice all the time. I would recommend this location if you are looking for a place to get LASIK that is reliable and competent. I am happy every day that I had LASIK and would go back here again, as well as recommended it to friends and family.

I wasn't sure if I was a candidate for eye surgery, but I called and made a consultation appt to be sure. Turns out I was a candidate and the process from there was very smooth and laid out. The procedure itself was so easy and painless and the recovery was pretty quick. I had mild discomfort for the first two days and within a week my vision was 20/20. I would recommend them to anyone thinking of getting LASIK.

If you are on the fence on whether to get LASIK or not - I had my surgery on 10/22/2020 and the only regret I have was not doing the surgery sooner! The professionalism from the staff at the reception to the doctors is is second to none. They walk you thru the process and make you feel comfortable and secure. Will you be anxious and hesitant? Of course, but let them guide you thru the process you will not regret it!!! 4 hours after the procedure (I took a nap) - and I could see perfectly!!! You will not regret it!

I had a wonderful experience at Longwood Eye and LASIK in West Springfield. I was very nearsighted and had my vision corrected with ASA (also called PRK, a laser-refractive surgery like LASIK). All of the staff were helpful, kind, and responsive, and scheduling was easy, from the free consultation through the surgery itself. My pre-operative measurements were done by Dr. Walkowiak. He was very informative and answered all of my questions thoroughly, not to mention getting my prescription spot-on for the surgery. Dr. Warren was the surgeon who performed the procedure. Talking to him before the surgery gave me confidence that I was in good hands, as he had a professional and calming demeanor that put my mind at ease, and he explained the process very clearly. The surgery went smoothly, and now my vision is excellent, with no discomfort or side effects. I highly recommend Longwood Eye and LASIK, Dr. Walkowiak, and Dr. Warren to anyone considering laser-refractive surgery to correct their eyesight!

I had LASIK performed in January at the West Springfield site by Dr. Warren. All of the staff were very kind and knowledgeable. They answered all of my questions regarding the procedure and allayed any nerves. I would highly recommend this office/group for your LASIK procedure and general eye care appointments.

Got my LASIK procedure done here and I couldn't be happier with the results. During the surgery, I experienced no pain at all! Post-op, I barely had any discomfort and healed nicely. The doctors allowed for the whole process to go by quick and smooth and they explained everything very thoroughly. They were also very organized and timely. Barely any wait time at all for any of my appointments. I would say that if you are feeling hesitant about getting LASIK like I was, you should just go for it and be sure to get the procedure done with Longwood Eye & LASIK! Highly recommend!

Here I am one week post LASIK eye surgery and still in awe of the whole process. Every night I still feel like I need to remove my contacts because I can't remember ever being able to lay in my bed and watch TV or look around the room without them (or my glasses). I had my one week checkup today and seeing better than 20/20...Unbelievable! The LASIK eye center is the best of the best. The facility is beautiful and the doctors and staff are fantastic. I am so incredibly grateful and happy that I chose to have LASIK and chose the LASIK eye center to do it. If you're considering it...DO IT!!! It is worth every penny.

Last Thursday on 11/12 I had my LASIK surgery! I’ve been wearing glasses since I was 7 years old. I dabbled with contacts but because of my severe astigmatism they were never comfortable and were always short lasting. I’ve always wanted LASIK surgery but was to nervous to even make the consult appointment. I have pretty severe anxiety issues. Well, I finally called and made my consult appointment! From the minute I walked through the doors of the West Springfield LASIK center I felt welcomed and comfortable. The girls at the front desk were all cheerful and helpful! The day of my scheduled surgery (which was less than a week after my consult!) I was beyond nervous! The coordinator gave me something to settle my nerves and as always was the sweetest, most patient person!! (Shout out to him, sorry I’m bad with names!) next came my surgery. Dr. Warren lived up to his great reputation and was thorough and gentle. He talked me through the short surgery and continuously asked if I was still doing ok. As for the actual surgery, I’m sure many are reading this in hopes of getting insight. I did the same thing before making my jump. The surgery was short and painless. There is one portion that has some pressure. But no pain at all! Do NOT listen to horror stories you may read somewhere on the internet! Go to see Dr. Warren. If you are anything like me and have anxiety and are a perfectionist. Stop your research here! This is your place! Dr. Warren and his team is your LASIK team! If curious about post-op: the worst of it is the dry eye (artificial tears are your best friend! Get the big box!!) a bit of crusty eye lashes from all of the drops you use for the first week. Warm wash cloth twice a day helps a ton! The next day when I say in the chair for my post-op follow up I was told I had 20/20 in both eyes!!! I literally broke down crying! I knew I was seeing well, but I was not expecting this so soon! The day I was told I have 20/20 will be a day I remember for the rest of my life! In conclusion, don’t wait. Book your consult! It was worth every penny! I only wish I did it sooner! THANK YOU Dr. Warren and the whole team at West Springfield LASIK center! I will forever be grateful for my new vision!

It's been 2&1/2 years since I had PRK (a form of LASIK) done to my eyes. Everyone was extremely thorough in making sure that I was a good fit for surgery by performing different tests on me. Very kind people. I did the research prior to and found that this was the most affordable place around. They are experienced. The procedure went without a hitch and was painless. Putting in eye drops was the only difficulty for me afterwards, because I've never used them. But they gave me practice drops well we before the surgery so I was well prepared after surgery. Your eyes will need some time to heal and recover after surgery. With the guidance of the people at West Springfield Eye and LASIK, they made it easy. For anyone considering improving their eyesight, I highly recommend you go there! Get checked with an open mind to see if you can get it done. I always wanted eye corrective surgery since I was a child. My horrible eyesight was a hindrance to my self confidence, ability in sports, and school. It interfered more recently with my work, doing landscaping or repairing motors. 2&1/2 years past and after the surgery was done, my eyesight has had no problems in the light, dark, near or far! I couldn't be more pleased with this life changing procedure! After the PRK procedure, I went back to college after a 10-year hiatus, and I have since been more confident in my abilities and am on my way to getting my 3rd and 4th associates degrees and going for my bachelor's in fall 2020. I am pleased to provide this very positive review of the Eye & LASIK Center in West Springfield, MA, along with its staff. I had my consultation to determine if I was a suitable candidate for LASIK on Thurs, Aug 9, 2018. After the staff took the time to examine my eyes and take preliminary measurements, they deemed me to be a great candidate for LASIK. I agreed it was the best course of corrective action for my eyes. I was scheduled for pre-op eye measurements on Wed, Oct 3, 2018, and then my surgery was scheduled for Thurs, Oct 11, 2018. Dr. Warren and Dr. Walkowiak did an excellent job of explaining exactly what was going to happen before, during, and after the surgery. The cost of the surgery includes all pre and post op appointments. (4 in total: 1 before; 3 after) I had a good deal of discomfort the evening after my surgery, which was to be expected. I was able to see with crystal clear vision, albeit with moderate discomfort, the very next morning. That same morning was my first post-op appointment, when my vision was assessed at 20/15 in both eyes (prior vision was about 20/60). The two prescription drops, in addition to the tear drops, helped me have a swift recovery in both comfort and healing. I am writing this review because I am incredibly pleased with how well this experience panned out for me. I am very happy with how clear my vision is (still 20/15 as of my one-week post-op appointment); I feel like I got to hit the reset button on my vision. This was the best investment I could have made on myself. I thank the surgical services team for an all-around great experience; I would recommend the Eye & LASIK Center to anyone who is a good candidate for LASIK.

Dr. Warren is the GOAT, my LASIK went extremely well. It was painless and I had no soreness or pain after my procedure, heavily recommend! Everyone working there was very nice and I was in and out.

Highly recommended for laser correction surgery! The surgical center in Springfield is beautiful and very clean. I had a great outcome and can see so well! The office in Gardner has been following me after the surgery and both Dr. Maher and Dr. Glavine are great! Both are highly skilled doctors and they provide excellent patient care. Highly recommend. I went for LASIK vision correction. From the first phone call asking about the process- to scheduling- to interacting with staff at every appointment, top to bottom this place was very friendly and accommodating. From the consultation to post-op care, Dr. Walkowiak was amazing! Every time I came in for an appointment for my LASIK, the waiting room was clean and organized and the receptionists were great! Everyone was concerned for privacy and was highly attentive. I am going to recommend everyone I know to Longwood Eye! My eyes are at a 20/15 after my LASIK surgery and I have been wearing glasses since I was 10 years old. Dr. Warren is the best doctor I have ever had. He is everything a doctor should be: kind, empathetic, skilled, knowledgeable, and so much more. Dr. Maher is patient and takes the time to get the best prescription for glasses for a complex case. The office staff is always friendly & helpful.

As usual all of the staff was exceptional... personality, efficiency, time spent, etc. which makes my experience very pleasurable when I have my yearly checkups. Was initially referred to Dr. Warren for Cataracts. From the first visit, I received friendly courteous treatment from all the staff. I have had the surgery but also have continued to have appointments here with the same treatments.

I been using glasses for 27 years and this has been best thing I have done for myself.

After my November and December 2023 Cataract surgery, I had follow up appointments here (as well as the Greenfield office). I was treated with friendly respect. Even though I saw different doctors than Dr. Warren, they were knowledgeable about my case. Still have continued appointments for another issue. So happy I have come here.

I got a laser eye procedure (ASA) and had great results! I mostly dealt with Dr. Walkowiak who was very kind and informative, he told me ASA would be a better choice than LASIK in my case, and I trusted that he would have said if I was not a suitable candidate. Dr. Warren did the procedure which was very quick with minimal discomfort, maybe 20 minute max. The first two weeks of recovery were pretty hard. I had blurry vision and needed to use a lot of eye drops, but they told me all of this before so I was prepared. It was about a month when my vision stabilized to what it was like when I had glasses, but I was comfortable driving maybe 10 days later. My glasses prescription was -5.00; it's been about 3 months since the surgery and my vision is 20/20 now. If you want your vision corrected, go get a consultation to see if you're a good candidate, I would totally do it again.

Had LASIK done here a week ago, so it’s an early review of course. But I can say the staff at Longwood are all fantastic - Dr Walkowiak did all my pre and post op care, and Dr Warren performed the procedure. Both have been wonderful to work with, and I couldn’t be more happy with my results so far. The procedure was painless and extremely quick - I think I was in the room for less than 10 minutes. My eyes were a little uncomfortable afterwards but took a nap (which accidentally ended up being a 4 hour nap). When I woke up, I felt totally fine, and I could see clearly, even through the plastic eye covers. One week down the line and my vision is better than 20/20, with the expectation that it’ll only continue to improve over the next month or so. Also a quick note about some of the 1 star reviews, it seems like at least a few of those are actually people trying to review the practice next door (which shares the building and lobby space), not Longwood Eye and LASIK Center. — Quick update about a year post-op, couldn’t be happier with how it turned out! Didn’t have any complications and my vision has stayed great - huge thanks to Dr Walkowiak and Dr Warren!

The staff (people behind the counter) are always pleasant and helpful. Dr. Warren, Dr. Lotufo, and Dr. Ying have been so very helpful in teaching me how to manage my glaucoma medication and reassuring me about the healthy status of my macula. I always feel comfortable and well cared for, and my questions get complete and helpful answers. Since Dr. Warren did my cataract surgery I have the best, clearest vision I have ever had in my whole life and I am so grateful to receive all this wonderful care (and effective prescriptions) through my health insurance without having to manage all the paperwork myself. These people are the best, I can't recommend them highly enough!

I am having a remarkable experience with The Eye & Lasik Center, West Springfield, MA as well as the other offices (Greenfield Ma,, Gardner, Ma). I consulted with Dr. Warren regarding cataract surgery, and have since had my right eye "fixed." I am a believer (as he would say). The procedure was painless and the results astounding. Dr. Patel has performed my follow up visits and she is quite remarkable. There are so many folks to mention, such as Tracy and Olivia and Dr. Walkowiak. These folks are kind, professional, and very willing to spend time talking about the procedures, what to expect, and any aspect of the cataract surgery process. All the helpful staff at Eye & LASIK Center made my laser surgery a great one. My husband had his surgery seven years ago and has always told me I should have it done. I have been Dr. John Warren’s patient for almost 2 years. I have always been extremely anxious about doctors and medical appointments. I had LASIK done in April of 2022 and wanted to wait a while before I gave a review. It's safe to say now that it was the best decision I've made and I'm extremely happy I went with Longwood Eye & LASIK. They made the entire process incredibly seamless and the procedure itself was quick, easy, and painless. I was in and out of the office the day of my procedure in a little over an hour, and I was only in the procedure room for about 10-15 minutes. I was able to drive myself to my follow-up appointment the very next morning. I experienced a bit of "haloing" after my procedure for a few months, especially while driving at night and around lights indoors, but that subsided (like the doctors said it would) after about 6 months or so. My vision before LASIK was about 20/800 and now I'm at 20/15 which is even better than it was with contacts. I would highly recommend Longwood Eye & LASIK if you are considering LASIK. I wish I had done this years ago but I'm very glad I finally did.
